Boxer Shane Mosley Hosts Charity Fundraiser for Diamond’s Love Foundation at Mosley Manor.  This was a family affair with 3 generations of Mosley’s on hand.

In a departure from the negative stories surrouding international sports figures – Sugar Shane Mosley gives back. Known for his temperament like sugar, and surrounded by the Mosley family including his long time trainer father, sister, and son, Mosley lent his support to the Diamond’s Love Foundation to benefit underpriviledged kids.  Hosted at the Mosley Manor, the boxer joined the mayor of the town of his boyhood home Pomona in a fundraiser for the foundation to help underpriviledged youth and the homeless.  Mosley plans to lend support for the foundation’s upcoming events.

This weekend may be a time to relax away from the job, but Sugar Shane Mosley will be out and about for a good cause.

The famed pugilist will be among those enjoying a “Night of Giving,” a charity event organized by Mosley’s sister. The event, which takes place from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday (11/20) in Pomona, Calif., is expected to attract various celebrities and feature giveaways and other happenings.

Proceeds from the Night of Giving will go to the Diamonds Love Foundation, a new organization which provides support to community-based organizations that promote education, physical and mental health, fitness and nutrition and improves the quality of life for the community. (more…)
